Who are we looking for?
You already have some experience as an Industrial Automation Engineer. You are able to work independently, but you also enjoy collaborating within a small team. You are practical, technically strong, and eager to learn. You enjoy working on real machines and control systems, and you are motivated by turning complex technical challenges into reliable solutions.
What will you do?
As an Industrial Automation Engineer, you develop, integrate, and commission the control systems behind animatronic figures and show systems. You work on PLC-based automation, industrial networks, and the integration of electric industrial actuators, sensors, and field hardware.
- Developing and commissioning PLC and automation software for animatronic figures and related systems
- Integrating electric industrial actuators, sensors, I/O, and industrial communication networks into complete control systems
- Working with platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Beckhoff
- Supporting troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and improvement of existing control software and hardware
- Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software teams during development, assembly, and commissioning
What do you bring?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Industrial Automation, or a related field
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with PLCs, industrial automation, and control systems
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Beckhoff is a strong plus
- Affinity with electric industrial actuators, motion systems, and industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN bus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP
- Strong communication skills
