Collect and use of personal data of customers, suppliers and other contractors
We would like to inform you that we will collect the personal information you provide us, and use it because it’s necessary to make and execute any agreements with you. This applies to both our (potential) customers and to companies with whom we purchase goods and / or services.
If you are a (potential) customer of us, we will use your data to send you quotations, determine which specifications or wishes a specific item or service has to meet, be able to deliver goods or carry out work for you, be able to send invoices, and be able to communicate with you in a smooth and efficient way about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. Regarding purchasing, this is necessary to be able to let you know which specifications or wishes a particular item or service in our opinion must comply, send a quotation request or to place an order, be able to pay your invoices and communicate with you in a smooth and efficient way about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obligated to provide us with your personal data. However, if you decide not to provide your personal data or insufficient data, it is possible that we can’t perform the activities mentioned above.
Transfer data to third parties
Regarding the implementation of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we must provide your personal data to companies that supply parts, materials and products to us, or carry out work for us. Furthermore, we use external server space for saving (parts of) our sales and purchasing administration, where your data is part of. Therefore your personal data will be provided to our data center. We use Microsoft Office and the related storage options for emails and other files. Because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will be passed on to the provider of this service.
If you have given us permission to do so, we will store and use your personal data to inform you about existing and new products and services and make possible offers for this. We will do this personally and by email. Every time we send you an advertising email, you have the opportunity to let us know that you no longer appreciate receiving this. See the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.
Retention period of personal data
If you have requested a quote from us but didn’t become our customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. If we have received an offer from you, but didn’t become your customer, we will delete your personal data no later than one year after our last contact as well. If you did become our customer, or we became your customer, we will save your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully implemented. The seven-year period corresponds to the period in which we are obligated to keep our administration for the Tax Authorities. After this period we will delete your personal data.
You have the right to ask us to view your own personal data. If there is a reason to do so, you can ask us to complement your personal data or change inaccuracies. You also have the right to request that we delete your personal data or limit the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data or file a complaint with Dutch Data Protection Authority.
